Ranger kom tillbaka tillsammans med en annan han-guineapig, Ronin. Före deras ankomst hade de bott tillsammans men hade kämpat mycket dåligt, vilket ledde till att ägaren delade upp dem. Tyvärr dog Ronin kort därefter när han kom till oss på grund av underliggande njurfel. För närvarande är Ranger extremt rädd och skrattmåttig. Han tycker inte om att bli tagen upp och döljer sig ofta när vi närmar oss hans bur. Vår team är engagerad i att arbeta med hans socialisering och hjälpa honom att anpassa sig till hans nya miljö 🙂

Ranger arrived with another male guinea pig, Ronin. Before their arrival, they had been housed together but had been fighting significantly, resulting in wounds for both, with Ranger being the worse off. This prompted their owner to separate them. Sadly, Ronin passed away shortly after coming to us due to underlying kidney failure that we were unaware of. At the moment, Ranger is very nervous and skittish. He isn’t comfortable with handling and always hides when we approach his enclosure. Our team is committed to working on his socialisation and helping him adapt to his new surroundings, but this process is taking time, especially since he was on multiple medications when he first arrived and has been through a lot of stress due to the treatments & vet visits. Since Ranger has been neutered, he may be able to live with a female guinea pig for companionship, which could help him feel more secure! He needs a home where he can receive plenty of time and patience. With the right love and care, we believe he will begin to express his personality and learn to feel more comfortable around humans.
