2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male

Labrador Retriever · Male · Puppy · 22 months

We have been asked to help find a new home for this beautiful young boy, who is just 22 months old. Sadly, his current owner is moving house and, through no fault of his own, is unable to take him with them. We are therefore looking for a special new home where he can settle in, continue learning and, most importantly, become part of a family for life. He is a lovely young dog with lots of personality and plenty of energy. At just 22 months old, he is still very much a youngster, so he can be excitable at times, but he is a good-natured boy who is continuing to learn and develop. About Him He is: 22 months old Yellow in colour Vaccinated Microchipped Currently holds a pet passport Good with other dogs Knows his basic commands Young, playful and energetic Friendly and enjoys being around people Like many dogs of his age, he can get a little over-excited, particularly when there is something interesting happening. He does initially pull on the lead, but this is something that can be worked on with patience, consistency and positive training. He knows his basic commands and would benefit from a home that is willing to continue his training and help him grow into the wonderful adult dog we know he can become. The Home We’re Looking For We are looking for a home where he will have plenty of space and the opportunity to enjoy an active lifestyle. He could be happy living with another suitable dog, as he is good with other dogs, or he could potentially live as the only dog. What mat

About 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male

What life with 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male looks like

2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male is a medium-sized puppy/kitten labrador retriever dog waiting at Labrador Rescue South East and Central in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

Frequently asked

Adopting 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Labrador Rescue South East and Central handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Labrador Rescue South East and Central will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Labrador Rescue South East and Central early rather than rehoming privately; they know 2477 – 22 month old Yellow Male and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
