74/26 Mali

Female · Puppy

Breed: Boxer. Sex: female. Age: approx. 2023. In the shelter since: 15.09.2026 Mali is a lively, playful and curious Boxer female who quickly brings good mood with her lovable nature. She approaches her surroundings in a friendly and open way and likes other dogs as well as children and other animals. Due to her back problems, Mali needs to be spared physical strain. That is why she is looking for a single-level home without stairs, where her health needs are taken into consideration. Despite her cheerful and energetic nature, it is important to avoid overexertion and to provide her with a daily routine that suits her physical condition. Mali gets along well with other dogs, so she could also imagine a home as a second dog, provided the chemistry between the dogs is right. Children and other animals are no problem for her either. For this lovable female, we wish for people who appreciate her cheerful personality, give her plenty of affection, and handle her health limitations responsibly. Despite her back problems, Mali would like to take part in family life and enrich her people's everyday lives with her funny, curious nature. Who will give this special dog a single-level home where she can feel comfortable and enjoy her life?

About 74/26 Mali

What life with 74/26 Mali looks like

74/26 Mali is a puppy dog waiting at Tierheim Nettetal in Nettetal.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting 74/26 Mali, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about 74/26 Mali?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Nettetal handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw 74/26 Mali on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt 74/26 Mali if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Nettetal will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is 74/26 Mali already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if 74/26 Mali isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Nettetal early rather than rehoming privately; they know 74/26 Mali and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
