Abajour is a young cat, one year old, who arrived at the shelter after being picked up by the municipal pound. Still very overwhelmed by humans and his new surroundings, he remains particularly fearful. Approaching him is still difficult for now, and he needs a reassuring setting as well as a great deal of patience to gradually discover the good sides of life with people. But Abajour is slowly beginning to make progress. Today, we are able to have real interactions with him through play, which he enjoys very much. It is a lovely way for him to build confidence, come closer at his own pace, and gradually form a bond with the volunteers. Abajour is still at the beginning of his story, but these small steps forward are very encouraging. With time, gentleness, and someone willing to give him the space he needs, he will be able to move little by little toward a calmer life and learn to trust humans.

Abajour est un jeune chat d’un an, arrivé au refuge après avoir été pris en charge par la fourrière. Encore très impressionné par les humains et son nouvel environnement, il reste particulièrement craintif. Les approches sont pour le moment encore difficiles et il a besoin d’un cadre rassurant ainsi que de beaucoup de patience pour découvrir progressivement les bons côtés de la vie auprès des humains. Mais Abajour commence doucement à faire des progrès. Aujourd’hui, nous arrivons à avoir de véritables interactions avec lui grâce au jeu, qu’il apprécie beaucoup. C’est une jolie façon pour lui de prendre confiance, de s’approcher à son rythme et de créer petit à petit un lien avec les bénévoles. Abajour est encore au début de son histoire, mais ces petits progrès sont très encourageants. Avec du temps, de la douceur et une personne prête à lui laisser l’espace nécessaire, il pourra avancer petit à petit vers une vie plus sereine et apprendre à faire confiance à l’humain.
