Adopt ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA

Collie · Unknown · Puppy · 3 months

The puppies were dropped off at the door of a horta tower; there are 5, about 3 months old, mixed breed (part border collie). No one saw who left them there, but the little ones, out of fear or not knowing where they were, stayed at the door of this tower. Now they are in the shelter, and we hope that among all of us, we can help them. Once the vet has examined them, we will place them in foster care with adoption rights, after completing the application process.

About ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA

What life with ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA looks like

ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA is a puppy/kitten collie dog waiting at Protectora Lydia Argilés in Spain.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Protectora Lydia Argilés handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Protectora Lydia Argilés will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Protectora Lydia Argilés early rather than rehoming privately; they know ABANDONO EN LA HORTA DE LLEIDA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
