Achmed is a handsome Cyprian tomcat, 5 years old, looking for a forever home. His previous owner moved away, but fortunately, the neighbor took care of him. However, the neighbor's cat didn't appreciate my presence, so he decided to find me a new home. I'm a bit uncertain at first, needing time to adjust to new people and surroundings. But once you get to know me and I trust you, I let you pet me. My friendly side comes out, and I can be quite affectionate! I have one important thing to tell you about myself: I love food! Put something tasty in front of me and you'll have my full attention. A nice meal or a tasty treat can help you become friends with me. I get along well with other cats. We decided not to place Achmed in Wijchen. Once I'm fully settled in my new home and with my new people, I'd love to go outside and explore. Are you looking for a sweet tomcat who may not immediately come running to you, but with patience, attention, and a treat, shows more and more of himself? Then I hope you'll become my new owner!

Ik ben Achmed, een knappe cyperse kater van 5 jaar oud en ik ben op zoek naar een fijn nieuw thuis waar ik voor altijd mag blijven. Mijn vorige baasje is verhuisd. Gelukkig stond de buurman voor mij klaar en nam hij liefdevol de zorg voor mij over. Dat vond ik natuurlijk hartstikke fijn! Helaas kon de poes van de buurman mijn komst wat minder waarderen. Daarom heeft hij, hoe moeilijk hij dat ook vond, besloten om voor mij op zoek te gaan naar een ander thuis. Ik ben in het begin een beetje een onzekere kater. Ik heb even de tijd nodig om aan nieuwe mensen en een nieuwe omgeving te wennen. Maar als ik je eenmaal ken en vertrouw, laat ik me graag aaien. En dan komt ook mijn gezellige kant naar boven, want ik kan behoorlijk wat afkletsen! En dan moet ik natuurlijk nog iets belangrijks over mezelf vertellen: ik ben gek op eten! Zet er iets lekkers voor mijn neus en je hebt al snel mijn volledige aandacht. Een lekkere maaltijd of een smakelijk snoepje kan dus zeker helpen om vrienden met mij te worden. Met andere katten kan ik prima overweg. Wij hebben besloten om Achmed niet in Wijchen te plaatsen. Als ik eenmaal helemaal gewend ben aan mijn nieuwe huis en mijn nieuwe mensen, zou ik het heerlijk vinden om lekker naar buiten te kunnen en op ontdekkingstocht te gaan. Ben jij op zoek naar een lieve kater die misschien niet meteen op je af komt rennen, maar die met wat geduld, aandacht en iets lekkers steeds meer van zichzelf laat zien? Dan hoop ik dat jij mijn nieuwe baasje wordt!
