Adele

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 1 year

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! Our Adele has found her home! Here's her story: Adele had to endure terrible things like her mother Esther did. Rescued from terrible conditions by our animal protectors, she could temporarily stay there and be cared for in safety and with full affection in the current foster home in Bistrita, where she was well-fed and pampered. Despite the bad experiences with the people she and her canine friends and companions had to deal with, Adele is a friendly little female dog. About 1 year old, probably small-breed and a creamy coat of hair – what more could one want? Adele is friendly to both humans and animals and is now waiting for her family that can make her happy. However, her new family should be aware that Adele has not yet known life in a loving family. She still needs to learn the whole puppy ABC and puberty is in full swing. Here, she needs people who can approach with much love and patience, and possibly also attend some positively working dog training classes with her and forgive her one or two mishaps. Leash walking, house training, and being alone are still foreign words to her. During puberty, she will surely test boundaries and perhaps even forget some things she has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Adele will definitely become a great lifelong partner. We hope so much that she can now experience the beautiful sides of life and learn that there are people who only want the best for her. Adele is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings an EU pet passport with her and can be adopted after a positive foster home experience. We would also be very happy to have a foster home for the sweet mouse! Who will give her a loving forever home? Many thanks to Joke! You gave Adele her name.

Vielen Dank an Joke! Du hast Adele Ihren Namen geschenkt.

About Adele

What life with Adele looks like

Adele is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Adele, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adele?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adele on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adele if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adele already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adele isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adele and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
