I am Jackie 🐾 I am a lovely little scamp, but don't be fooled by my size! I am actually very brave and want to be everywhere. I love to run up to everything. Tail up and off I go! I am a real troublemaker and love to challenge my friends to a game. I can play until I'm almost exhausted. And when I do fall, I love to do it on someone's lap. Snuggle up, catch my breath... and off I go again! Because I am still so small and vulnerable, I need some extra guidance. I don't always focus on eating, so it's important that my food is offered actively. I also sometimes forget to rest. Then it's necessary to put me in my bed so I can actually rest. I am not very good at setting my own boundaries. 😉 I am a bit shy with new people at first and like to watch from a distance, but I usually warm up quickly. With people I know well, I am quite clingy, but once you have my heart, I love to be on your lap. I am very attached to Merrit and we are looking for a home together. We give each other support and warmth and clearly love each other. My ideal home is a loving family where someone is home regularly and where I get plenty of company. A place where I can grow up safely, get enough rest and later maybe explore the world with my friend. And of course, I hope for lots of lap time! 💕 Do you want to offer me a home soon? Hoi! Ik ben Jackie 🐾 Ik ben een heerlijk klein frummeltje, maar vergis je niet in mijn formaat! Ik ben namelijk ontzettend stoer en wil overal bij zijn. Ik wil niets missen en dus ren ik het liefst overal op af. Staartje omhoog en hop, daar ga ik! Ik ben een echte belhamel en daag mijn vriendjes graag uit voor een potje spelen. Ik kan blijven spelen tot ik er bijna bij neerval. En als ik dan toch omval, doe ik dat het allerliefst op schoot. Lekker knuffelen, even bijkomen en… hop, daar ga ik weer! Omdat ik nog zo klein en kwetsbaar ben, heb ik wel wat extra begeleiding nodig. Ik ben niet altijd gericht op eten en daarom is het belangrijk dat mijn eten actief wordt aangeboden. Ook vergeet ik soms dat ik moet rusten. Dan is het nodig om mij even in mijn mandje te zetten, zodat ik daadwerkelijk mijn rust pak. Ik ben tenslotte zelf nog niet zo goed in het bewaken van mijn grenzen. 😉 Ik ben bij nieuwe mensen eerst wat verlegen en kijk ik graag even de kat uit de boom, maar gelukkig ontdooi ik meestal snel. Bij mensen die ik goed ken, ben ik wel wat eenkennig, maar als ik je eenmaal in mijn hart heb gesloten, kom ik graag bij je op schoot. Ik ben erg gehecht aan Merrit en we zoeken daarom samen een thuis. We geven elkaar steun en warmte en zijn duidelijk dol op elkaar. Mijn ideale thuis is een liefdevol gezin waar regelmatig iemand thuis is en waar ik lekker veel gezelschap heb. Een plek waar ik veilig kan opgroeien, voldoende rust krijg en later misschien samen met mijn maatje de wereld verder mag ontdekken.
