Mijn naam is Mack en ik ben een ontzettend lieve kater met een heerlijk eigen karakter! Ik ben gek op mensen en vind het vooral heerlijk om lekker dicht bij je te zijn. Fysiek contact vind ik geweldig. Het liefst lig ik lekker tegen je aan en geef ik kopjes tegen je gezicht aan. Ook slapen doe ik graag samen met mijn mens. Als jij eenmaal een plekje hebt gevonden, kom ik er gezellig bij liggen. ❤️ Maar ik ben natuurlijk niet alleen maar een knuffelkont. Ik ben namelijk ook dol op jagen! Speeltjes waar ik achteraan kan rennen, iets wat beweegt of een lekker spannend spelletje: daar kan ik helemaal in opgaan. En soms krijg ik de bekende gekke vijf minuten… Alleen duren die bij mij gerust twintig minuten. Dan ren en speel ik er vrolijk op los en kan ik mijn energie goed kwijt. Ook heb ik behoorlijk wat te vertellen. Ik miauw regelmatig en laat graag van me horen. Soms is alleen niet helemaal duidelijk waar ik het precies over heb, want ik kan ook heerlijk tegen het niets zitten te miauwen. Maar ach, een beetje karakter mag natuurlijk best! 😉 Ik heb wel wat extra medische aandacht nodig. Ik heb chronische niesklachten en daarom is het belangrijk dat mijn nieuwe eigenaar hier goed op let. Wanneer ik duidelijk meer last krijg van het niezen of verkouden ben, moet er contact worden opgenomen met de dierenarts. Meestal heb ik er erg weinig last van en is mijn neus poetsen met een vochtig watje voldoende. Stomen helpt mij ook bij mijn niesklachten. Mijn gastgezin doet dit bijvoorbeeld door mij tijdens het douchen gezellig mee in de badkamer te laten zitten. De warme, vochtige lucht helpt om mijn luchtwegen wat vrijer te houden. Ook heb ik een entropionoperatie gehad. Gelukkig heb ik daar nu geen last meer van. Af en toe komt er nog wat uitvloeiing uit één oog, maar verder gaat dit goed. Daarnaast ben ik gevoelig voor tandsteen. Het zou daarom goed zijn als mijn tanden regelmatig worden gepoetst. Alleen… daar ben ik zelf helaas niet zo enthousiast over en ik laat dit niet gemakkelijk toe. Het kan daarom nodig zijn dat ik regelmatig bij de dierenarts een gebitsreiniging nodig heb. Mijn nieuwe eigenaar moet er dus rekening mee houden dat dit mogelijk vaker nodig is en dat hier ook kosten aan verbonden zijn. Ondanks dat ik wat extra aandacht nodig heb, ben ik vooral gewoon een ontzettend leuke kater die graag bij zijn mensen is. Ik zoek een thuis waar ik mezelf mag zijn, waar ruimte is voor mijn gekke buien, waar ik lekker kan spelen en jagen en waar ik vooral heel veel gezelligheid en fysiek contact krijg. En als je ‘s avonds naar bed gaat? Dan hoop ik natuurlijk dat er een plekje voor mij over is. Want als het aan mij ligt, slaap ik gewoon lekker bij je. Wil jij mij een huisje bieden?
