A pleasant greeting, I am Datje! A beautiful, slightly fluffy gray-black-white girl. When I look at you with my head slightly tilted and those big, beautiful eyes of mine, I will definitely melt your heart right away. Together with my sturdy sister Ditje, we explore the world. I follow her everywhere! The most fun moment of the day is when our crate opens up and we can make the house unsafe. We run around like crazy, tiptoeing, sneaking around, and jumping on each other (and sometimes even on the plants). Are you looking for a hunter? As soon as the kitten playthings come out, I am right at the front to catch the ‘prey’! When we have to go back into the crate for a moment because the doors are open, my sister and I will loudly meow, because we don't want to miss anything. In our foster family, there are also large, adult cats. They still blow at us sometimes, but we don't mind at all. I am much too curious about what those giants are saying! There are also children here, and that is super cozy. As soon as they come near, I start spinning. I love to be cuddled, stroked, and played with. New people can be a little bit exciting at first, but I warm up incredibly fast. As soon as you pick me up, I start spinning loudly. Just don't expect me to lie quietly on your lap for hours; the world is simply too interesting and there must be playing first! I am looking for a cozy home where I can play a lot. Aangenaam, ik ben Datje! Een prachtig, een beetje pluizig grijs-zwart-wit meisje. Als ik je aankijk met mijn hoofdje een beetje schuin en die grote, mooie oogjes van mij, dan laat ik je gegarandeerd meteen smelten. Samen met mijn stoere zusje Ditje ontdek ik de wereld. Ik volg haar werkelijk overal op de voet! Het allerleukste moment van de dag is wanneer onze bench opengaat en we het huis onveilig mogen maken. We rennen als dolle drempels achter elkaar aan, besluipen elkaar en springen bovenop elkaar (en tja, ook wel eens bovenop de planten). Ben je op zoek naar een jager? Zodra het kattenspeelgoed tevoorschijn komt, sta ik vooraan om de ‘prooi’ te vangen! Moeten we heel even terug de bench in omdat de deuren openstaan? Dan zet ik het samen met mijn zusje op een luidkeels miauwen, want we willen natuurlijk niks missen. In ons gastgezin wonen ook grote, volwassen katten. Die blazen nog wel eens naar ons, maar daar trekken wij ons lekker niks van aan. Ik ben veel te nieuwsgierig naar wat die grote reuzen allemaal uitspoken! Ook wonen hier kinderen en dat vind ik supergezellig. Zodra ze in de buurt komen, begin ik al hard te spinnen. Lekker kroelen, aaien en spelen vind ik heerlijk. Nieuwe mensen vind ik in het begin heel even een klein beetje spannend, maar ik ontdooi ontzettend snel. Als je me oppakt, begin ik al gauw luid te spinnen. Verwacht alleen nog niet dat ik urenlang rustig bij je op schoot blijf liggen slapen; de wereld is simpelweg nog veel te interessant en er moet éérst gespeeld worden! Ik zoek een gezellig huisje waar ik lekker veel mag spelen. Het liefst verhuis ik natuurlijk samen met mijn zusje Ditje, want wij zijn echt een onafscheidelijk duo.
