Hello, my name is Yasi and I am a loving, social kitten with an independent character and a small feisty edge. As a singleton, I arrived at our quiet foster family and after a while, I got to know my 1.5-week-older foster brothers. Where I initially found them a bit overwhelming, I am now happy with them, as I can play with them and no longer feel alone. Additionally, they are my inspiration, as I observe what they can do, which helps me develop faster. So, I am already quite active, climbing higher, and understanding boundaries better, as they show me when I play too enthusiastically. At first, meeting people was so exciting that I would blow on them, but that is now completely different. I now come to people looking for attention and sometimes even climb onto their laps. Furthermore, I am often heard spinning excitedly, give headbutts when the foster family lifts me, and like to sleep on their chest or near them. I am with them a lot, just like with my foster brothers, but sometimes I also like to follow my own plans. For example, if I spend a while sleeping alone, I am extra happy to see the foster family again and greet them enthusiastically. Additionally, alongside all the cuteness, I also have a feisty character trait that sometimes comes out. So, I can sometimes react with biting and clawing if I don't like something, and if I am scared, I can puff up. This is much less than it used to be, but the combination of this character trait + the unpredictable behavior of children/dogs is not a good match for me. Therefore, I am only placed with a kitten or cat and with an adult owner who understands my behavior and does not get scared when it sometimes happens. Ideally, I would like to move to a nice new home where they can enjoy my loving, cuddly side and give me space when needed. Hoi, mijn naam is Yasi en ik ben een lief, sociaal kitten met een zelfstandig karakter en klein pittig randje. Als eenling kwam ik ons rustige gastgezin terecht en leerde ik na een tijdje mijn 1.5 week oudere pleegbroers kennen. Waar ik ze eerst wat overweldigend vond ben ik nu blij met ze, want ik kan lekker met ze spelen en voel me nu niet meer alleen. Daarnaast zijn ze mijn inspiratie, want ik kijk bij ze af wat zij al kunnen waardoor ik me sneller ontwikkel. Zo ravot ik al flink mee, klim ik steeds hoger en snap ik grenzen beter, want zij laten het wel merken als ik bijvoorbeeld te fanatiek speel. Bezoek vond ik eerst zo spannend dat ik naar ze blies, maar dat is nu totaal anders. Ik kom nu bij mensen kijken en klim soms zelfs op schoot. Verder hoor je mij regelmatig fanatiek spinnen, geef ik kopjes als het gastgezin mij optilt en slaap ik graag op hun borstkas of bij ze in de buurt. Ik ben graag bij ze, net zoals bij mijn pleegbroers, al vind ik het soms ook fijn om mijn eigen plan te trekken. Als ik dan bijvoorbeeld ergens een tijdje alleen heb liggen slapen, ben ik daarna extra blij om het gastgezin weer te zien en begroet ik ze enthousiast. Verder heb ik naast al die schattigheid ook een pittig karaktertrekje in mij die soms naar boven komt. Zo kan ik soms wat fel reageren met bijten en klauwen als ik iets niet prettig vind en als ik van iets schrik kan ik gaan blazen. Dit is al veel minder dan wat het eerst was alleen de combinatie van deze karaktertrek + het onvoorspelbare gedrag van kinderen/honden is geen goeie match voor mij. Vandaar dat ik alleen bij een kitten/kat geplaatst wordt en bij een volwassen baasje die mijn gedrag snapt en niet van mij schrikt als dit soms gebeurt. Het liefst zou ik naar een fijn nieuw thuis willen verhuizen waar ze kunnen genieten van mij lieve, knuffelige kant en mij de ruimte geven als dat nodig is. Daarnaast zou ik graag een speelmaatje hebben zodat ik me niet alleen voel, me sociaal nog meer kan ontwikkelen en we heerlijk samen kunnen spelen. Wil jij mij binnenkort een huisje bieden?
