Hi, I'm Vito! A young, enthusiastic Labrador Retriever, 1 year old, with a good dose of energy and a big heart. Due to changing circumstances, I ended up in the animal shelter, but I hope to find a nice home soon where I can be myself completely. I'm a social guy and get along well with other dogs, although I can sometimes be too enthusiastic and pushy in the house. Therefore, it might be better if I have the house to myself, so I can get all the attention I want. Cats? I don't have any experience with them, so that's a bit of a question mark. I get along well with children, but due to my sometimes clumsy and energetic behavior, I'm looking for a home where the children are a bit older (from around 15 years old). I'm a well-behaved dog and have already had bench training. I can also be alone, as long as this is built up calmly. I love going for walks outside, although I still like to pull on the lead - so it's nice if my new owner is firm in their shoes and helps me with that. After all, I'm a big Labrador. Hoi, ik ben Vito! Ik ben nog maar net één jaar oud en ben onlangs vanuit een ander dierenasiel hier terechtgekomen. Ik ben dus nog jong en heb nog een heel leven voor me. Ik ben op zoek naar een lieve, geduldige en vooral verantwoordelijke baas die mij wil helpen om verder te groeien en mij een fijne toekomst kan geven. Ik ben een gezellige jongen die graag bij mensen is. Ik geniet van gezelschap en ben op zoek naar iemand die het leuk vindt om samen met mij dingen te ondernemen en mij de nodige uitdaging te geven. Tijdens het wandelen kan ik heerlijk ontspannen meelopen. Wanneer ik rustig kan wandelen, vertoon ik geen uitvalgedrag naar andere honden. Toch kan ik helaas niet samenleven met andere honden of katten. Daarom moet ik vanwege mijn gedrag naar andere honden aangelijnd worden uitgelaten. Alleen thuis zijn moet ik nog rustig leren. Met geduld en een goede opbouw kan ik hierin verder groeien. In de auto kan ik prima mee. Bij langere ritten word ik helaas wel autoziek. Verder ben ik zindelijk en klaar om samen met mijn nieuwe baasje op ontdekkingstocht te gaan. Ik zoek een thuis waar mijn nieuwe baas begrijpt dat ik nog jong ben en begeleiding nodig heb. Iemand die duidelijk en consequent is, maar mij vooral met geduld en vertrouwen wil begeleiden. Geef jij mij de tijd, aandacht en uitdaging die ik nodig heb?
