There are eyes that are waiting. Those of Abele have been waiting for too long... behind the bars of a dog shelter. Abele is a wonderful large dog, a Maremma crossbreed weighing about 35 kg, born presumably in November 2017. His life changed in 2019, when he was abandoned and entered the dog shelter. Since then, he has been waiting for someone who will truly choose him. Despite everything, Abele has not lost his trust: he is sociable, affectionate and gently seeks human contact. He loves being with people, as if he hopes each time that the outstretched hand will finally be "his". He gets along with females, has not been tested with males, and remains calm around cats. He knows how to walk on a leash and would be the perfect companion for someone who loves large dogs and an even larger heart. Abele is not just looking for a home. He is looking for a family, someone who will give him back the lost time, the denied caresses, the security of never being left behind again. If you feel that you could be that person, contact us. He is at a private accredited dog shelter in the province of Rome but we also place him in the north, after the necessary pre-adoption home checks, vaccinated, spayed, tested for leishmaniasis and obviously with a microchip.

Ci sono occhi che aspettano. Quelli di Abele lo fanno da troppo tempo… dietro le sbarre di un canile. Abele è un cagnolone meraviglioso, un derivato maremmano di circa 35 kg, nato presumibilmente a novembre 2017. La sua vita è cambiata nel 2019, quando è stato abbandonato ed è entrato in canile. Da allora aspetta qualcuno che lo scelga davvero. Nonostante tutto, Abele non ha perso la fiducia: è socievole, affettuoso e cerca con dolcezza il contatto umano. Ama stare con le persone, come se sperasse ogni volta che quella mano tesa sia finalmente “la sua”. Va d’accordo con le femmine, non è stato testato con i maschi, e si mostra tranquillo anche con i gatti. Sa andare al guinzaglio e sarebbe il compagno perfetto per chi ama i cani di taglia grande e dal cuore ancora più grande. Abele non cerca solo una casa.
