Aero and Wispa

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 5 years

Meet Aero & Wispa who came in as part of an unwanted litter. They really are beautiful little kittens. They are now 14 weeks old. They really do need to be in a loving home of their own now. They are both typical kittens - very playful and love to chase each other around.Their favourite toy being their feather fishing rod. They are friendly girls who love a fuss and will then purr away to their hearts content. They are health checked and vaccinated and are now ready to leave. Please get in touch if you can offer them a loving, forever home. It would be lovely for them to find their new home together but not essential. They can live with children over 5 years, other cats and dogs.

About Aero and Wispa

What life with Aero and Wispa looks like

Aero and Wispa is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Mayflower Sanctuary in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Aero and Wispa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Aero and Wispa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Mayflower Sanctuary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Aero and Wispa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Aero and Wispa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Mayflower Sanctuary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Aero and Wispa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Aero and Wispa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Mayflower Sanctuary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Aero and Wispa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
