Adopt Aga

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 3 years

Aga is a beautiful Siamese cat who was rescued near the cemetery in San Pedro Alcántara. She is approximately 3 years old. She arrived already spayed, although we do not know her previous history. When she arrived at the shelter, she was very stressed and did not allow contact easily. Over time, she has gained confidence and now allows herself to be stroked and even seeks contact, nudging you with her head to ask for cuddles. However, Aga has character and knows how to set boundaries: when she has had enough of being stroked, she makes it clear and may give you a little nip. She lives with other cats, although she prefers to keep her space and not be disturbed. She could share a home with a calm, independent cat who respects her space, or be the only cat. Preferably a family without small children. Aga deserves a second chance in a home where her needs are respected. 📧 If you would like to meet her, please write to us: 📸 Follow us on Instagram:

About Aga

What life with Aga looks like

Aga is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

Note from the shelter: Needs respectful boundaries - may nip when overstimulated

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Aga, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Aga?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Aga on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Aga if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Aga already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Aga isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Aga and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
