Aiko is a friendly, playful, and a bit cautious boy. Before coming to the shelter, he lived on the streets and had difficulty finding enough food. He is a big boy but also very kind, which made it difficult for him to assert himself in an area where there were many homeless cats. When he first came to a foster home, he didn't understand that he would no longer have to go hungry, so he ate too much and also chewed on food packaging, dishcloths, and other things. This behavior has now improved, but Aiko's future home will need to continue working with him to make him feel secure around food. It helps to give him small portions throughout the day; he also likes activity toys where you hide food, which helps him not to overeat. Initially, you will also need to keep a close eye on things that he might want to chew on. Aiko is very affectionate towards both cats and people, and he likes to sleep in bed. He is looking for a home where he can have one or more kind cat friends and a person who wants to play with him and make sure he gets exercise because he has a lot of energy and mischief in his body. He would really appreciate an enclosed/glazed balcony because he loves to watch birds.

Aiko är en snäll, busig och lite försiktig kille. Innan han kom till föreningen levde han som hemlös och hade svårt att hitta tillräckligt med mat. Han är en stor kille men också väldigt snäll vilket gjorde det svårt för honom att ta för sig i området där det fanns många hemlösa katter. När han först kom till ett jourhem så förstod han inte att han nu skulle slippa svälta så han hetsåt sin mat och tuggade även på matförpackningar, disktrasor och annat. Detta beteende har nu blivit bättre men Aikos framtida hem kommer behöva fortsätta jobba med honom för att göra honom trygg kring mat. Det hjälper att ge honom små portioner fördelat över dagen, han tycker också om aktivitetsleksaker som man gömmer mat i vilket hjälper honom att inte hetsäta. Man kommer också, till en början, behöva ha stenkoll på att det inte finns saker framme som han kan tänkas vilja tugga på. Aiko är väldigt kärleksfull mot både katter och människor och han sover gärna i sängen. Han söker ett hem där han får en eller flera snälla kattkompisar och en människa som vill leka med honom och se till att han får aktivering eftersom han har mycket energi och bus i kroppen. Han skulle verkligen uppskatta en innätad/inglasad balkong eftersom han älskar att spana på fåglar.
