Update 14.02.2024 Hello everyone out there, even though you may not know me, I used to be extremely shy and would hide every time someone visited. But my foster family here has been sooo kind and allowed me to settle in at a foster home. Wow, people (!), that was something. Now I see another cat getting petted and even getting a belly rub, it’s incredible. Should I give it a try too??? I’ve thought about it for a while and tried it very cautiously, and let me tell you: WOW, it feels good. Unfortunately, my fear still holds me back, so while I would love to be petted, I’m not quite ready. I’ve been gently petted on my back, side, and on a good day, my belly, and then the “sewing machine” with milk kicking in also starts. With the other cat, we just didn’t click, and as I’ve gained more confidence each day, the other kitty has also noticed. So I’m back at the animal shelter, hoping for a visit from you. I can’t promise to show myself, but my foster mom has taken some safety photos… I really do exist. My biggest wish is to find a loving home without other pets and with people who will give me lots of time and not rush me. I’m pretty sure I’ll soon come out of my shell and take a leap. Since no one seems to miss me, I’m now looking for a nice home. People are still a bit suspicious to me and I’ll give them a little nip at first, but with patience and affection, I’ll surely let them pet me soon. I get along super well with my feline friends here and wouldn’t mind moving in with one of my friends or joining an already existing cat. Another cat would be nice, but I can also manage on my own. Since I came from outside, I’d love to have some roam time after my settling in period. So if you have a suitable spot, feel free to contact the animal shelter. This cat needs outdoor access.

Update 14.02.2024 Hallo Ihr Lieben da draußen, so wirklich kennt Ihr mich ja nicht, da ich doch extrem viel Angst hatte und mich bei Besuchen immer direkt versteckt habe. Aber meine Menschen hier waren sooo lieb und haben mir ermöglicht, auf einer Pflegestelle zur Ruhe zu kommen. Mann, Leute (!), das war vielleicht was. Da seh ich doch ne andere Katze, die sich anfassen, auf den Arm nehmen und beschmusen lässt, irre. Ob ich das wohl auch mal ausprobieren sollte??? Hab dann mal ne Zeit drüber nachgedacht und es dann auch gaaaaanz vorsichtig ausprobiert und was soll ich sagen: WOW, fühlt sich das gut an. Leider steht mir meine Angst noch im Weg, dass ich zwar gerne beschmust werden würde, aber mich nicht so richtig traue. So ganz behutsam mal am Rücken, mal an der Seite und an einem guten Tag auch mal am Bauch und dann geht auch die „Nähmaschine“ inkl. Milchtreten an. Mit der anderen Katze hat nur die Chemie leider nicht gepasst und mit jedem Tag, an dem ich an Selbstbewusstsein gewonnen habe, hat es die andere Mieze leider auch zu spüren bekommen. Daher bin ich jetzt wieder im Tierheim und hoffe auf Besuch von Euch. Ich kann zwar nicht versprechen, dass ich mich zeige, aber meine Pflegemutti hat zur Sicherheit mal Fotos gemacht…es gibt mich nämlich wirklich. Mein größter Wunsch ist, jetzt ein liebevolles Zuhause ohne andere Tiere und bei Menschen, die mir ganz viel Zeit geben und mich nicht bedrängen. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich dann ganz bald auftaue und über meinen Schatten springe. Eure -am liebsten Kuschelkatze- Akiko oder auch Molly Grue genannt (den Namen hatte meine Pflegemutti mir gegeben und ich hab sogar ein wenig drauf gehört) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hallo zusammen, ich bin die süße Akiko, zusammen mit meiner Schwester Amira wurde ich ohne Mutter aufgefunden, konnte dann von lieben Menschen mittels einer Falle gesichert und hierhergebracht werden. Da mich scheinbar niemand vermisst, suche ich jetzt ein schönes Zuhause. Menschen sind mir noch ziemlich suspekt und werden erst mal angefaucht, aber mit Geduld und Zuwendung lasse ich mich bestimmt bald auch mal streicheln. Mit meinen Katzenkumpels verstehe ich mich hier super und hätte nichts dagegen, mit einem meiner Freunde auszuziehen oder zu einer schon vorhandenen Katze zu ziehen. Eine andere Katze wäre zwar schön, aber ich komme auch gut alleine klar. Da ich von draußen komme, würde ich nach meiner Eingewöhnungszeit gerne wieder Freigang genießen. Wenn Ihr also noch ein passendes Plätzchen frei habt, dann meldet Euch doch gerne im Tierheim. Eure Akiko
