Aldo is a charming Mini-Podenco-male dog who resides in our partner shelter Hogar de Asís and is waiting for a wonderful home with Podenco enthusiasts—or those who wish to become one. Aldo was originally taken from a Perrera and has been in the care of our animal welfare partner Tere since May 2026. Although we have no information about his past, Aldo himself seems to care very little about it. He is full of joie de vivre and positive energy. We are now looking for the perfect human match. 🙂 Aldo is well integrated into the shelter routine and also does very well in the large, mixed dog pack. In the mornings, all the dogs can go out to the run together, and there Aldo can truly enjoy his freedom outside the run. The happiest Aldo in the world can be seen when you provide him with a pool and various toys. It's simply a delight to watch him play with balls and other things. His little heart does somersaults when you throw all his treasures into the pool. Then he diligently retrieves each item one by one. By the end of the morning, we have struggled to gather all the toys and place them in a safe spot. Aldo seems to have observed this closely, for he quickly and diligently redistributes and secures his playthings. He is simply a witty, amusing little fellow, and it is a great joy to watch him.

Aldo ist ein entzückender Mini-Podenco-Rüde, der sich in unserem Partnertierheim Hogar de Asís befindet und von dort aus auf ein schönes Zuhause bei Podenco-Liebhabern – oder solchen, die es werden möchten – wartet. Aldo wurde ursprünglich aus einer Perrera übernommen und befindet sich seit Mai 2026 in der Obhut unserer Tierschutzpartnerin Tere. Über seine Vergangenheit liegen uns zwar keine Informationen vor, doch Aldo selbst scheint das herzlich wenig zu interessieren. Er steckt voller Lebensfreude und positiver Energie. Eigentlich suchen wir nun genau dazu das menschliche Pendant. 🙂 Aldo ist bestens in den Tierheimalltag integriert und kommt auch im großen, gemischten Hunderudel sehr gut zurecht. Vormittags dürfen alle Hunde gemeinsam in den Auslauf, und dort kann er seine Freiheit außerhalb des Zwingers so richtig genießen. Den glücklichsten Aldo der Welt sehen Sie, wenn man ihm ein Planschbecken und verschiedene Spielsachen zur Verfügung stellt. Es macht einfach riesigen Spaß, ihm dabei zuzuschauen, wie er sich mit Bällchen und Co. vergnügt. Sein kleines Herz macht Freudenpurzelbäume, wenn man all seine Schätze in das Planschbecken wirft. Dann holt er ganz geschäftig einen Gegenstand nach dem anderen wieder heraus. Am Ende des Vormittags haben wir mühsam alle Spielsachen eingesammelt und an einem Ort abgelegt. Aldo scheint das ganz genau beobachtet zu haben, denn in Windeseile hat er eifrig seine Spielis wieder verteilt und in Sicherheit gebracht. Er ist einfach so ein witziges, amüsantes kleines Kerlchen und es macht große Freude, ihm zuzuschauen.
