Alice is a seven-year-old beautiful and demanding female cat looking for her own human. 24.8.2025, the Cat Beauty Alice returned on her own from Reku to look for her forever home. Alice is sociable and often spends time with her caregivers. She also enjoys people's company. Alice likes climbing and watching the world through the window. Alice is brave and gladly gets to know new people, as long as she can do it in her own way and her boundaries are respected. Alice comes to the door to greet her own caregivers, purrs, and wags her tail gently. Sometimes Alice needs her own space and doesn't want to be disturbed then. Sometimes she hides under the sofa to spend her own time, and if someone approaches her, the caregiver may receive a swat and a light scratch. When Alice is allowed to approach people on her own terms, she is very affectionate and enjoys being petted. Also, cuddling with people is pleasant for Alice. In a playful mood, Alice may run towards people as if attacking. Alice needs regular grooming and other stimulation. As a medium-haired Alice, some shedding is expected. It is also advisable to brush her regularly, which goes smoothly. Alice has been diagnosed with early-stage spondylosis and arthritis. It does not show symptoms at the moment and does not affect her life, but the situation needs to be monitored. Like most cats, Alice loves familiar and safe routines. Alice may react to stressful or disturbing situations with aggression, swats with claws or even trying to bite. For this reason, a person/family with extensive cat experience and understanding of a cat's inner life is sought for Alice. Alice will not be given to a family with children. Alice is looking for a home as the only pet in the household. 31.7.2021, Alice moved to her own home in Helsinki. 4.6.2021, Alice is very social and misses a lot of people's proximity and petting. However, from excessive closeness, she indicates with a light swat or a gentle flick, so it is not suitable for a family with children. The best home for Alice would be an adult home where there is time and willingness to invest in her activity and training. She likes to watch birds and passersby through the window and sometimes gets excited to play with her own toys or fight, for example, with a toilet paper roll. New temporary caregivers will always be greeted at the door. Alice hardly shows shyness towards strangers. There is no information about how she reacts to other cats, but a nice cat companion is not ruled out. Hopefully, there is a sufficiently large bed in the new home, because Alice absolutely wants to sleep next to people, often even in between. The foster home is trained in handling and for example, administering medicine goes well. More difficult tasks such as trimming the nails require restraint. Alice is very interested in all delicious food, so training is possible.

Alice on noin seitsemänvuotias kaunis ja vaativa kissarouva, joka etsii omaa ihmemaata. 24.8.2025 Kissakaunotar Alice palasi itsestään riippumattomista syistä Rekuille etsimään omaa loppuelämän kotia. Alice on seurallinen ja viihtyy usein samoissa tiloissa hoitajiensa kanssa. Hän osallistuu myös mielellään ihmisten puuhiin. Alice pitää kiipeilystä ja maailmanmenon seuraamisesta ikkunasta. Alice on rohkea ja tutustuu mielellään uusiin ihmisiin, kunhan saa tehdä sen omalla tavallaan ja hänen rajojaan kunnioitetaan. Omia hoitajiaan Alice tulee ovelle vastaan, kiehnää jaloissa ja huiskii hellästi hännällään. Välillä Alice kaipaa omaa tilaa eikä halua silloin tulla häirityksi. Välillä hän vetäytyy sohvan alle viettämään omaa aikaa ja jos häntä silloin lähestyy, voi hoitaja saada osakseen sähinää ja tassun läpsäisyn. Kun Alice saa lähestyä ihmisiä omilla ehdoillaan, hän on erittäin hellyydenkipeä ja nauttii rapsutuksista. Myös ihmisten kanssa ja päällä makoilu on Alicelle mieleistä. Riehakkaassa mielentilassa Alice saattaa ryntäillä ihmisiä kohti kuin hyökätäkseen. Alice kaipaakin säännöllistä leikitystä ja muuta aktivointia. Puolipitkäkarvaisena Alicesta lähtee jonkin verran karvaa. Turkkia kannattakin hoitaa säännöllisellä harjauksella, joka sujuu hienosti. Alicella on todettu alkavaa spondyloosia ja nivelrikkoa. Se ei tällä hetkellä oireile eikä vaikuta mitenkään hänen elämäänsä, mutta tilannetta tulee seurata. Kuten useimmat kissat, Alice rakastaa tuttuja ja turvallisia rutiineja. Alice saattaa reagoida stressiin ja ahdistavaksi kokemiinsa tilanteisiin aggressiolla, läppäistä kynsillä tai jopa yrittää purra. Tämän vuoksi Alicelle etsitään vankan kissakokemuksen omaavaa ja kissan sielunelämää ymmärtävää ihmistä/perhettä. Lapsiperheeseen Alicea ei luovuteta. Alice etsii kotia talouden ainoana lemmikkinä. 31.7.2021 Alice muutti omaan kotiin Helsinkiin. 4.6.2021 Alice on erittäin seurallinen ja kaipaa runsaasti ihmisten läheisyyttä ja rapsutuksia. Liiallisesta lähentelystä hän kuitenkin ilmoittaa tassunläpsäisyllä tai kevyellä näykkäisyllä, eikä siksi sovellu lapsiperheeseen. Paras koti Alicelle olisi aikuiskoti jossa kuitenkin on aikaa ja tahtoa panostaa hänen aktivointiin ja koulutukseen. Hän tykkää tarkkailla lintuja ja ohikulkijoita ikkunasta ja toisinaan innostuu leikkimään omilla leluillaan tai taistelemaan vaikkapa vessapaperirullan kanssa. Kotiin saapuvia sijaishoitajia tullaan ovelle tervehtimään poikkeuksetta. Alice ei juuri ujostele vieraita ihmisiä. Suhtautumisesta toisiin kissoihin ei ole tietoa, mutta mukava kissakaveri ei ole poissuljettu. Uudessa kodissa on toivottavasti riittävän suuri sänky, sillä Alice haluaa ehdottomasti nukkua ihmisten vieressä, usein jopa välissä. Sijaiskodissa on harjoiteltu käsittelyä ja esim. lääkkeen antaminen sujuu hyvin. Vaikeammat toimet kuten kynsien leikkuu vaatii kuitenkin kapalointia. Alice on erittäin kiinnostunut kaikesta herkullisesta syötävästä, joten kouluttaminen on mahdollista.
