Roemenië, 13 mei 2026 Drie helse jaren heeft ALMA geleefd bij een herder en zijn andere hond in Roemenie… Vanaf kleine pup werd ze stelselmatig geslagen, geschopt, en de andere hond beet haar ook met enige regelmaat… Het meiske kende geen rust, geen veilig plekje,geen liefde…. Onze lieve non heeft haar daar weg kunnen halen godzijdank en de eerste maanden/jaren waren zwaar. Het vertrouwen moest gewonnen worden, de uiterlijke wonden geheeld. De innerlijke wonden dragen nog steeds de littekens van haar zware leven. Alma is nu 10 jaar oud. Ze leeft al 7 jaar bij de lieve non waar ze af en toe uit haar kennel mag en ze loopt dan vol vertrouwen los mee en is zo gehoorzaam! Ze geniet dan intens van haar special me-time en is zo verdrietig als ze weer terug de kennel in moet… Dan huilt ze ook echt… Alma is doodsbang van onweer en vuurwerk. Veel honden hebben dat maar bij Alma is het extreem. Ze erg zelfs dat de non haar elk oud en nieuw mee het klooster in moet nemen naar haar kleine kamertje. Voor de rest is Alma een geweldige meid. Top met mensen dol op aandacht, goed met katten, kippen. Van teefjes moet ze niet veel hebben, reutjes vindt ze OK. Ze lijdt enorm in de kennel. Al 7 jaar opgesloten met heel af en toe (denk aan een paar x per jaar) een wandeling… Ondanks dat de non dol op haar is, met meer dan 50 honden die aandacht nodig hebben komt Alma gewoon veel te kort… Ze is te dik door te weinig beweging en haar leeftijd natuurlijk. Maar ze is een lieverd met potentie! Ze heeft het ergste meegemaakt in de mens en dit overleefd! Nu moet haar oude dag eindelijk eens boordevol warmte, liefde, knuffels en heerlijke dagelijkse wandelingen gaan worden! Toch? Geef jij lieve Alma een mooie ouwe dag?
