Literally trembling with fear, they pressed themselves into the far corner of the enclosure, avoided eye contact, and made themselves as small as possible when anyone approached. Fear was all they knew. With infinite patience and love, the Animal Shelter was able to show Aloe that hands are not only for hitting and that voices are not only for shouting. She is now learning that people can be kind, gentle, and quiet. It still falls hard for her to muster real courage, but she is trying. She wants to trust, to be loved, and to give love. For this wounded soul, we are looking for people who have a lot of patience and can give her the time and space to build up her courage. An existing family dog could also help Aloe to find her way in the new situation. Do you want to give Aloe the chance to process her trauma and finally start living? Buchstäblich schlotternd vor Angst drückten sie sich in die hinterste Ecke des Geheges, vermieden jeden Augenkontakt und machten sich so klein wie möglich, wenn sich jemand näherte. Angst war alles, was sie kannten. Mit unendlicher Geduld und Liebe gelang es den Animaleas, Aloe zu zeigen, dass Hände nicht nur schlagen und Stimmen nicht nur laut sind. Sie lernt jetzt, dass Menschen freundlich sein können, sanft und ruhig. Noch fällt es ihr schwer, wirklich Mut zu fassen, doch sie gibt sich Mühe. Sie will vertrauen, will lieb gehabt werden und selber Liebe geben. Für diese verwundete Seele suchen wir Menschen, die viel Geduld haben und ihr die Zeit und den Raum geben, um Mut zu fassen. Auch ein bereits vorhandener Familienhund könnte Aloe helfen, sich in der neuen Situation zurechtzufinden.
