23.03.26 Amaya – eine zarte English Pointer Hündin – wurde dort gefunden, wo eigentlich kein Leben sein sollte. Mitten im Nirgendwo, fernab jeder Zivilisation, irrte sie umher… allein, abgemagert bis auf die Knochen, völlig dehydriert und verzweifelt auf der Suche nach etwas Essbarem. Niemand weiß, wie lange sie dort schon gekämpft hat. Niemand weiß, wie viel Leid sie bereits ertragen musste.Als sie gefunden wurde, war ihr Blick leer und müde – und doch lag darin noch ein kleiner Funken Hoffnung. Hoffnung darauf, endlich gesehen zu werden. Endlich Hilfe zu bekommen.Doch Amayas Zustand bereitet große Sorgen. Neben ihrer starken Auszehrung zeigt sich eine deutliche Umfangsvermehrung im Bauchbereich, die dringend medizinisch abgeklärt werden muss. Was genau dahintersteckt, wissen wir noch nicht – aber es ist klar, dass sie schnelle und intensive tierärztliche Versorgung braucht.Der Finder hat nicht weggesehen. Er hat Amaya gesichert und sie auf unsere Kosten direkt zum Tierarzt gebracht. Für ein paar Tage nimmt sie sie bei sich auf, damit Amaya wenigstens ein kleines Stück Sicherheit spüren darf, bevor sie in eine Pension umziehen kann. 05.07.2026 Bei Amaya wurden mehrere Tumore operativ entfernt. Während der Untersuchungen wurden außerdem Metastasen im Nasenbereich festgestellt, die leider nicht operiert werden konnten.Im Moment ist Amaya stabil und es geht ihr den Umständen entsprechend gut. Darüber sind wir sehr dankbar. Wie sich ihre Erkrankung weiterentwickeln wird, kann jedoch niemand vorhersagen. Umso wichtiger ist es, dass sie jetzt die bestmögliche Versorgung erhält – in ihren Pension sowie regelmäßigen tierärztlichen Kontrollen, den notwendigen Medikamenten und allem, was ihr noch viele schöne und unbeschwerte Momente schenken kann.Jeder Tag, an dem Amaya ihr Leben genießen kann, ist ein kostbares Geschenk. Unser größter Wunsch ist es, ihr diese Zeit mit ganz viel Liebe, Geborgenheit und Fürsorge zu schenken.Amaya ist so eine liebe, sanfte und anhängliche Seele. Es ist schön zu sehen, wie sie Schritt für Schritt stabiler wird und endlich die Ruhe bekommt, die sie so sehr verdient hat. Wer Amaya mit einer Spende oder einer Patenschaft unterstützen möchte, um ihre monatlichen Pensions- und Tierarztkosten mitzutragen, darf sich sehr gerne bei uns melden.
