Her story: Amazing Grace and her sister Hakuna Matata were rescued from a poor family. Their mother is a Labrador mix, unfortunately, the family did not have enough money to get her spayed. The family was desperate, and our animal welfare workers:innen on-site stood by them. The mother has since been spayed, and the two sisters are now up for adoption. Amazing Grace – her more stormy temperament and her feisty nature stand in contrast to her sister’s more peaceful name! We suspect that a hunting dog gene from her father’s side is more prominent in her than in her sister. When she gets the chance to play and chew, it’s simply wonderful to watch and observe her zest for life! People are slowly becoming her playmates as well, although the harness and leash are still a bit uncomfortable for her at the moment, but she will soon accept them – and thanks to her intelligence, that will happen very soon. She currently measures about 45 cm and weighs 15 kg. She will continue to grow but will ultimately remain of medium size. For the black Labrador-mix female with a white chest spot, we are searching for a loving home that is willing to patiently teach her everything she doesn’t know: she has never lived in a home or had an appropriate life. Therefore, she wishes for people who will take her by the paw and explore a new world with her. We are sure that Amazing Grace will become a faithful companion to her new parents, with whom she can share many experiences and enrich their lives with her open, lively nature! Amazing Grace is in the middle of puberty. It is especially important to lovingly but consistently train her. Amazing Grace cannot control the hormone chaos, and she would never deliberately try to upset you. This phase can be challenging, but it is only temporary – just like with us humans. Amazing Grace is already ready to board and can be spayed, microchipped, treated for fleas, and dewormed for travel. Ihre Geschichte: Amazing Grace und ihre Schwester Hakuna Matata wurden aus einer armen Familie gerettet. Die Mutter der beiden ist eine Labradorhündin, leider hatte die Familie nicht genug Geld, um sie kastrieren zu lassen. Die Familie war verzweifelt und unsere Tierschützer:innen vor Ort standen der Familie bei. Die Mutter wurde mittlerweile kastriert und die beiden Schwestern werden zur Adoption freigegeben. Amazing Grace – ihr eher stürmisches Temperament und ihre kecke Art stehen etwas im Gegensatz zu dem friedlichen Namen! Wir vermuten, dass väterlichseits in ihren Genen ein Hütehund steckt, der bei ihr stärker hervorkommt als bei ihrer Schwester. Wenn sie die Möglichkeit zum Spielen und Fetzen bekommt, ist es einfach nur wunderbar, ihr dabei zuzusehen und ihre Lebensfreude zu beobachten! Menschen werden langsam auch als Spielkameraden entdeckt, das Geschirr und die Leine sind ihr aktuell noch eher unangenehm, werden aber akzeptiert – und sicher klappt auch das dank ihrer Intelligenz bald sehr gut. Aktuell hat sie eine Größe von ca. 45 cm und 15 kg. Sie wird noch etwas wachsen, aber letztendlich mittelgroß bleiben. Für die schwarze Labrador-Mischlingshündin mit dem weißen Brustfleck suchen wir ein liebevolles Zuhause, das bereit dazu ist, ihr geduldig noch all das beizubringen, was sie bisher nicht kennt: Sie hat noch nie in einem Haushalt gelebt oder hatte ein artgerechtes Leben. Daher wünscht sie sich Menschen, die sie an der Pfote nehmen und mit ihr zusammen eine neue Welt entdecken. Wir sind uns sicher, dass Amazing Grace eine treue Begleiterin ihrer neuen Eltern wird, mit der man viel erleben kann und die das Leben mit ihrer offenen, aufgeweckten Art bereichern wird! Amazing Grace steckt mitten in der Pubertät. Hier ist es besonders wichtig, liebevoll aber auch konsequent zu erziehen. Für das Hormonchaos kann Amazing Grace nichts und sie würde dich niemals bewusst ärgern. Diese Phase kann anstrengend sein, ist aber nur vorübergehend – genau wie bei uns Menschen. Amazing Grace sitzt bereits auf gepackten Köfferchen und kann kastriert, gechipt, entfloht und entwurmt ausreisen. Sie bringt ihren EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihr neues Leben reisen. Auch über eine Pflegestelle wäre sie sehr dankbar.
