A brown tabby female cat named Amia was born around 2019. She came to Katthemmet along with many other cats from an abusive home where the cats had multiplied uncontrollably and received no care or attention. She found a home in February 2026 but returned in July 2026 when her owner had to temporarily move to a place where animals are not allowed. Amia is a shy and insecure girl who does not fully trust humans yet. She comes forward when it's time for food, but otherwise she keeps a comfortable distance. In the right home, we are convinced that she will blossom and become social. It's important to take things slowly with her and actively work on making her feel safer. Amia has TR. Her teeth are clear now, but there is a risk that more teeth may need to be pulled later in life. She wants to come to a home without children, with or without a cat companion.

AMIA är en bruntigré honkatt, född ca 2019. Hon kom till Katthemmet tillsammans med många andra katter från ett vanvårdshem där katterna förökat sig okontrollerat och inte fått vård eller omsorg. Hon fick ett hem i Februari 2026 men kom i retur Juli 2026 då husse var tvungen att flytta tillfälligt där djur inte är tillåtna. Amia är en blyg och osäker tjej som inte litar helt på oss människor ännu. Hon kommer fram när de är dags för mat men annars håller hon sig på ett lagom avstånd. I rätt hem är vi dock övertygade om att hon kommer blomma ut och bli social. Det gäller att skynda långsamt med henne och aktivt arbeta för att få henne tryggare. Amia har TR. Tänderna är klara för nu men risk finns att fler tänder behöver dras senare i livet. Hon har även astma, som i nuläget är så mild att hon inte behöver medicin för det. Hon vill komma till ett hem utan barn, med eller utan kattkompis.
