Amico, the neutered tomcat born around June 1, 2023, and Kethe, the neutered kitten born around June 1, 2023, the outdoor cat Amico und Kethe (black/white), were caught outdoors and brought to the animal shelter for neutering. The two have gotten to know and love each other in the shelter. At first, both were extremely shy and standoffish like most wildlings. While it still takes some time for them to trust strangers, Amico und Kethe is now happy to receive cuddles, playtime, and treats from their trusted people. With the right amount of patience, the two have the potential to become affectionate lap cats. People are sought who can give Amico und Kethe the necessary time to fully gain trust and adapt to life in a household. Once this is achieved, they should again have the opportunity for a release to a quiet, low-traffic area.

Amico, Kater, kastriert, geb. ca. 01.06.2023 und Kethe, Kätzin, kastriert, geb. ca. 01.06.2023, Freigänger Amico und Kethe (schwarz/weiß) wurden draußen eingefangen und zur Kastration ins Tierheim gebracht, wo sich die zwei kennen und lieben gelernt haben. Anfangs waren beide wie die meisten Wildfänge extrem scheu und abweisend. Bei Fremden dauert es zwar noch immer eine Weile bis sie Vertrauen fassen, aber bei ihren Bezugspersonen freuen sich Amico und Kethe auf Streicheleinheiten, Spielangel und Leckerlies. Mit der nötigen Geduld haben die zwei das Potenzial richtige Schmusekatzen zu werden. Gesucht werden daher Menschen, die Amico und Kethe die nötige Zeit geben um vollends Vertrauen zu fassen und sich an das Leben im Haushalt zu gewöhnen. Wenn das geschafft ist, sollten sie wieder die Möglichkeit auf Freigang in verkehrsberuhigtem Gebiet haben.
