BKH-Mix, 5 years old. Female Amira was found with an eye infection and has since been medically treated, neutered, and is ready to move into a loving new home. The British Shorthair cat is a cuddly, friendly, and people-oriented plush paw that greatly enjoys the company of her humans. For her, we are looking for people with a heart and a bit of caregiving readiness, as her eyes still require attention: it is possible that Amira may need lifelong eye drops and regular eye care. Additionally, Amira occasionally shows some unusual movement patterns that can sometimes seem a bit odd. So far, no concrete conclusions could be drawn by the veterinarian. However, Amira manages well and is not deterred by this in her everyday life. A home as a single cat would be completely fine for Amira – she doesn’t necessarily need other cats around her. She is well-suited for apartment living with a secure balcony or similar option for fresh air enjoyment.
