Amo, male cat, neutered, born 01/01/2018, indoor housing Due to an illness, Amo's previous owner had to give him up to the animal shelter. Amo is a nice, affectionate cat who seeks contact with people who are not too loud or hectic. He gets along with other cats, but doesn't necessarily need them, so he would also feel comfortable as a single cat in indoor housing. Amo should not have to be alone for too long and wants to be mentally challenged. A cat-proof balcony or similar should be available in his new home. Amo was diagnosed with HCM (a chronic and progressive disease of the heart muscle). He is given corresponding medication, which is currently doing very well. However, regular cardiac ultrasound examinations are important for control in order to adjust the dose of the medication again and again.

Amo, Kater, kastriert, geb. 01.01.2018, Wohnungshaltung Aufgrund einer Erkrankung musste sein Vorbesitzer Amo leider im Tierheim abgeben. Amo ist ein netter, verschmuster Kater, der den Kontakt zu Menschen sucht, die nicht zu laut oder hektisch sind. Mit anderen Katzen verträgt er sich, braucht diese aber nicht unbedingt, sodass er sich auch als Einzelkater in Wohnungshaltung wohl fühlen würde. Amo sollte nicht zu lange alleine sein müssen und möchte geistig gefordert werden. Ein katzensicherer Balkon oder Ähnliches sollte in seinem neuen Zuhause vorhanden sein. Bei Amo wurde eine HCM (chronische und fortschreitende Erkrankung des Herzmuskels) diagnostiziert. Er bekommt entsprechende Medikamente, mit denen es ihm aktuell sehr gut geht. Allerdings sind regelmäßige Herzultraschall-Untersuchungen zur Kontrolle wichtig, um die Dosis der Medikamente immer wieder anzupassen.
