Adopt ANGEL

Female

Our goat rabbit Hokuspokus came to us as a found animal and was born approximately in January 2023. ANGEL came to us in the course of a rescue and was born around January 2024. She is a female, unneutered goat rabbit. The two have gotten to know each other with us and are now a well-established team that prefers to spend their daily lives together. Hokuspokus is a friendly and very curious rabbit that likes to explore its surroundings and welcomes new things with open ears. He shows a human-oriented behavior and is happy about attention, yet remains always active and adventurous. ANGEL is also very friendly, curious, and exceptionally loving. Additionally, she is a small gourmet and can be easily thrilled about food. She prefers to spend her day together with her partner – often the two lie together and enjoy their cuddle time. Both rabbits are alert and full of energy. They like to explore their enclosure, dart around, and enjoy quiet moments together. For Hokuspokus and ANGEL, we wish for a shared home in indoor or outdoor housing with a spacious enclosure of at least 6 m², preferably much larger, as both have a high need for movement and require ample space for hopping and exploring. For Hokuspokus, regular checks of the teeth are important, as he had dental problems in the past. As a goat rabbit, his ears should also be regularly cleaned and thoroughly checked during vet visits. Additionally, ANGEL should have her ears cleaned regularly due to her breed. Furthermore, she has a hind limb position issue. However, this does not affect her in everyday life – ANGEL zips through the enclosure just as happily as her partner.

About ANGEL

What life with ANGEL looks like

ANGEL is a adult animal waiting at Tierheim München in Munich.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows ANGEL far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting ANGEL, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ANGEL?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim München handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ANGEL on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ANGEL if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim München will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ANGEL already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ANGEL isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim München early rather than rehoming privately; they know ANGEL and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
