adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Angelina has found her home! Her story: When you look at Angelina, you can't help but smile. That face! Those trusting eyes! That slightly lopsided, but utterly charming look, as if she's saying: "Hey? Do you maybe have a little bit of a heart for me?" Angelina was found near the shelter – simply left behind. But instead of being sad, she decided to take life with enthusiasm and heart. Our animal rescuer Saskia found her there and brought her to safety. Since then, Angelina has shown that she's not just pretty, but also a real sweetheart: friendly, playful, open-minded, and always with a little sparkle in her eye. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs – she's right in the middle of the wild puppy phase, where everything is exciting, fun, or yummy (sometimes unfortunately also shoes). She's curious, happy, and full of life – in short: a little portion of happiness with fur. What Angelina has experienced so far, we don't know. Perhaps she still doesn't know much about life in a family – house, stairs, leash training, indoor cleanliness, car, strange sounds and smells. That's why she's looking for loving people who will show her with patience, kindness, and humor what a real home is like. Because yes, Angelina will surely make a little blunder – maybe while exploring, maybe while learning. But that's exactly what makes her so lovable: she wants to do everything right, even if she sometimes takes detours. In a few months, she will also enter puberty – that wonderful phase where young dogs raise their ears and renegotiate boundaries. But with loving consequences, clear rules, and a positively working dog training class, that will just be another step on the way to becoming a great companion. Angelina is looking for people who will give her security, watch her grow, and fall in love with her heart. With love, structure, and a good portion of humor, she will become a wonderful friend – loyal, witty, and full of life. Angelina travels neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas to her new home. Of course, an EU pet passport also comes with her. After a positive review, a foster home for the sweet mouse would also be a great option. Are you ready for a daily portion of tail-wagging, happiness, and love? Then Angelina is already waiting for you. A huge thank you to Anika, who gave her this beautiful name and thus a real chance at a new life. As of: 02.11.

Stand: 02.11.2025

About Angelina

What life with Angelina looks like

Angelina is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Angelina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Angelina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Angelina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Angelina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Angelina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Angelina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Angelina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
