Angie

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

Angie (born approx. 2022) is currently living in Bulgaria. She is approx. 60 cm tall and has a very sweet nature. Angie is very curious, and everything is interesting to her. Angie is very smart and is already quite good at settling down. She enjoys being close to her trusted people, is already familiar with children, and shows herself to be very gentle and sweet toward them. For her new home, Angie needs people who, with patience and love, will walk the next stage of her journey together with her. So far, she reacts calmly to cats. We are looking for people who want to discover the world with her and who appreciate her cleverness, willingness to learn, and friendly nature. Angie is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. Vierbeiner in Not e.V. only provides placement assistance in Angie's case. For serious interest, please call at the number below. General note about our dogs: Our dogs in Romania are visited regularly so that we can reassess their behavior and development again and again. These personal impressions help us greatly in conveying as accurate a picture as possible of each individual dog. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that a dog in a new environment – with new people, new routines, and new impressions – may show itself differently. This is completely normal and part of any process of change. Many dogs open up even faster in their home and show sides that were not visible at the shelter at all. Our assessments are therefore based on current observations, but they are not a guarantee of any particular behavior in a new environment. They are meant to provide guidance and show how the dog presents itself at the shelter – and what potential lies within it. We are convinced that with patience, understanding, and a loving environment, every dog can find its way and continue to develop positively.

Wir wünschen uns Menschen, die mit ihr die Welt entdecken und ihre Cleverness, Lernbereitschaft und ihr freundliches Wesen zu schätzen wissen. Angie ist geimpft, entwurmt, gechippt und kastriert.Vierbeiner in Not e.V. leistet im Fall Angie lediglich Vermittlungshilfe.

About Angie

What life with Angie looks like

Angie is an adult mixed breed dog waiting at Vierbeiner in Not e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Angie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Angie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Vierbeiner in Not e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Angie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Angie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Vierbeiner in Not e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Angie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Angie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Vierbeiner in Not e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Angie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
