adoption requirements adoption process Now request Annabellie! adoption requirements adoption process Now request Annabellie! Annabellie has found her home! Her story: What is black, small, and within seconds steals your heart? Exactly – Annabellie! The little magic mouse may look adorable, but she can do so much more than that: despite her moving backstory, she is incredibly cheerful and carries a lot of joy in her. Together with her mom Paola and her siblings Ho‘olana, Berry, Cupcake, Truffle, Liah, and Neele, Annabellie was found in an abandoned house. The circumstances were far from easy, and unfortunately, one of the puppies did not make it through the start of life. So much the better that Annabellie today still jumps through life open and curious. Annabellie really likes people. She runs up happily as soon as the kennel door opens and enjoys being petted. With other dogs, she shows herself to be well-mannered, and cats have not yet been tested. Typical puppy, she is playful, lively, cheeky, and always ready for new mischief ideas. Currently, Annabellie is about 10 weeks old and weighs around 4 kg. When she grows up, she is expected to reach a larger medium size like her mom. So she is perfect for shared walks, outings, and many beautiful years by her people's side. Visually, Annabellie is a real little beauty: her deep black, shiny fur makes her look a little like a mini panther, and her dark button eyes look curiously out into the world – always on the lookout for the next adventure. A little lady with a big charm factor. Now, Annabellie wants to learn the big dog ABC, build trust, and explore the world with her family. For this, she is looking for people with patience, loving consistency, and joy in accompanying a young dog as it grows up. Dog training classes, many positive experiences, cuddle time, and of course sufficient quiet phases belong to a successful start into her new life. Of course, like every young dog, Annabellie will also go through puberty at some point, but with a little patience, humor, and perseverance, this phase will also pass. Starting from early February, Annabellie can be adopted – after a positive evaluation, she will be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas and will of course bring her EU pet passport with her. Who would like to give the little Annabellie a loving home and accompany her on her life journey? She would also be very happy to have a foster home as a stepping stone into her new life. A big thank you goes to Fam. Friedl for taking over the naming patronage! As of: 09.01.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 09.01.2026

About Annabellie

What life with Annabellie looks like

Annabellie is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Annabellie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Annabellie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Annabellie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Annabellie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Annabellie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Annabellie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Annabellie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
