adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Anni has found her home! Her story: Anni is a true treasure – simply irresistible with her dense, black fur! It's impossible to say which breeds her ancestors have mixed into her genes, but the result is a unique and charming 30 cm female dog. At 1.5 years old, Anni has successfully passed the exciting phase of puppyhood and the turbulent puberty, but still has her whole life ahead and is finally settling in. Anni was found alone on the street. Despite this, she is an incredibly friendly, loving, attached, and trusting soul who adores human proximity above all. Anni currently lives in a Romanian foster home and is well compatible with cats and children; her compatibility with other dogs can be inquired about. Since we know nothing about Annis's past, it should be clear that you won't get a fully trained dog. Even though Anni sounds like a dream dog, she certainly needs time after the long journey to settle in and get used to her new environment. The dog ABC is certainly expandable. But with her great character, she will definitely quickly adapt to her new environment and also be happy to learn, perhaps even in dog training classes. Anni travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated, together with her EU pet passport. After a positive But also a foster home would be a good start for a happy dog life. Would you give this irresistible, little beauty the chance at a happy life? Anni has already packed her luggage. Thanks Daniela S.! With your namesake sponsorship, you have paved Annis's way to a better future. As of: 25.11.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Danke Daniela S.! Mit Deiner Namenspatenschaft hast Du Annis Weg in eine bessere Zukunft geebnet. Stand: 25.11.2025

About Anni

What life with Anni looks like

Anni is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Anni, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Anni?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Anni on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Anni if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Anni already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Anni isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Anni and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
