Anthrax is exactly what you imagine under the term "stafford" - a dedicated, cuddly, strong and proud dog who clings to his man with all his heart. He's friendly to people, he's not a problem, he loves contact and human attention. It is excellent in the pen - it does not demolish, bark and is clean. He was used to living at home, not a garden dog for "babysitting"! He's used to children, but because of his handicap, we recommend him to more debilitating ones that give him the necessary peace and respect. Anthrax suffers from the so-called KKS - keratoconjunctivitis sicca, which means it does not have tears. Care is a regular drip in the eyes (which it manages without problems), but it is a lifelong matter. Due to weaker vision, it responds worse to stimuli - for example, when it hears other dogs, but it does not see them, it can be uncertain and it may overreact. Anthrax can't stand other dogs or cats, he needs to be an only child. The ideal home for him would be in a family house with a garden to run to - the stairs are causing him trouble. If you are looking for a faithful, calm dog in the same household with which you want to share a sofa and a piece of garden, Anthrax will be your shadow. But he needs a man who gives him understanding and patience and has experience with this breed.
