Antosia

Mixed Breed · Female

Antosia was found on the streets of Krakow and is currently living in a temporary home waiting for adoption. This girl is a feline phenomenon - a combination of a troublemaker, food thief, acrobat, cleaner, and cuddler all in one furry body. She currently lives in a temporary home where she proves every day that life with her is never boring. Character and behavior: Feline troublemaker - she can give a dog a hard time, but then plays with it as if nothing happened. Food thief - she would eat a cow, a horse, and half a fridge. She has no tapeworms, just a complete lack of moderation. Bowls left by other cats? Licked to a shine. Acrobat - she's as springy as a rubber band, teleports around furniture and disappears in places that shouldn't exist. Cleaning lady - left glasses on the table? You'll find them under the bed in the morning. Every little thing disappears because "you have to clean up." Cuddler and social butterfly loves people, loves petting, loves attention. Every human is her human. Relations with other animals: She likes cats, respects boundaries, but sometimes tries to dominate. Dog? Unfortunately, we're giving up because she doesn't really like them. She loves playing with cats, chasing them, and wrestling is her national sport. Food and hygiene: She has an appetite like a lion's pride - bowls are always empty. She uses the litter box perfectly. We're looking for a safe, indoor home for Antosia that will give her the best care. A condition for adoption is to mesh the balcony (if there is one) and secure the most frequently opened windows against the cat falling out. She would love to be adopted by another cat, but it's not a necessary condition. ATTENTION! To adopt a cat, follow these guidelines: Open the adoption form (link: ), fill it out and wait for contact from our side - we'll call or reply to the email to arrange a pre-adoption visit. Antosia trafiła do fundacji z krakowskiej ulicy, obecnie mieszka w domu tymczasowym, gdzie czeka na adopcję. Ta panna to absolutny koci fenomen – połączenie łobuza, złodzieja żarcia, akrobatki, sprzątaczki i miziaka w jednym futrzanym ciele. Złodziejka jedzenia – zjadłaby krowę, konia i pół lodówki. Nie ma tasiemca, tylko absolutny brak umiaru. Miski po innych kotach? Wylizane do połysku. About Antosia

What life with Antosia looks like

Antosia is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy in Poland.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Antosia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Antosia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Antosia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Antosia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Antosia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Antosia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Stawiamy na Łapy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Antosia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
