We kunnen ons alleen maar voorstellen wat hij daar heeft meegemaakt, maar wat nog indrukwekkender is, is hoe open en mensgericht hij is gebleven. In Maria’s asiel toont Appa zijn zachtaardige en vertrouwde kant. Hij geniet er echt van om dicht bij mensen te zijn en zoekt actief contact zonder opdringerig te zijn. Ondanks zijn kalme karakter is hij een actieve hond die van beweging houdt, attent is en klaar is om het leven te ontdekken. Appa kan goed overweg met andere honden, hoewel hij de voorkeur geeft aan het gezelschap van teefjes boven reutjes. Wie geeft deze mooie jongen een thuis?
