Areias is a male dog, medium size, born in 2014. The owners left the house and abandoned the dog in the neighbors' yard. Areias was abused by the owners. He is afraid of people at first meeting. The neighbors say that Areias was always neglected and ignored by the owners. Areias was adopted and returned one week later, supposedly because the owners realized they had no idea what it meant to have a dog. Areias returned to the shelter sad and downcast. He did not deserve a second abandonment. Areias is a gentle, sweet, sociable dog with other dogs. A bit protective of his food, but that is something that can be corrected. He is vaccinated, dewormed, and neutered.

O Areias é um cão macho, porte médio, nascido em 2014. Os donos deixaram a casa e abandonaram o cão no quintal dos vizinhos. O Areias foi maltratado pelos donos. Tem medo das pessoas ao primeiro encontro. Os vizinhos contam que o Areias sempre foi negligenciado e ignorado pelos donos. O Areias foi adoptado e devolvido 1 semana mais tarde supostamente porque os donos realizaram que não tinham noção do que era ter um cão. O Areias regressou ao abrigo triste e abatido. Não merecia um segundo abandono. O Areias é um cão meigo , doce, sociável com outros cães. Um pouco protector da sua comida, mas é algo que se corrige. Está vacinado, desparasitado e esterilizado.
