Ares- born 17.6.26

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 4 months

Ares is a black male, with a white spot on his chest, who has come into our care with 14 other cats after his owner got into difficulty with several unwanted litters because she did not get her cats neutered. All the kittens we have been given are gentle and do not bite or scratch. All have been neutered, microchipped, wormed and fleaed (they came in riddled with fleaes) and all have had their first vaccinations. They will need booster vaccinations in early November. Ares is currently in foster with his sister Miren and his brother Nelson. Ares can be homed on his own or with his sister or brother. FOSTER HOME UPDATE: w When they first arrived in their foster home, all 3 kittens were shy and wary but they are now coming out to play. Ares is an active, curious and playful boy. He lets us stroke and carry him and is definitely ready for adoption. LOCATED: TW12

About Ares- born 17.6.26

What life with Ares- born 17.6.26 looks like

Ares- born 17.6.26 is a kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Animal Rescue and Care in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ares- born 17.6.26, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ares- born 17.6.26?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Rescue and Care handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ares- born 17.6.26 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ares- born 17.6.26 if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Rescue and Care will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Ares- born 17.6.26 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ares- born 17.6.26 isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Rescue and Care early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ares- born 17.6.26 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
