Aria & Emily

Female

Aria & Emily: two little diggers who have a keen sense of dinner! ✨ Rescued from a clandestine breeding operation, these survivors have earned the right to find a loving family today 💛 They are quite food-motivated, quickly coming to the window when dinner time arrives! 🍴 On the activity front, they share a passion for intensive digging. Aria also likes to do a little wheelie before sitting down to eat: warming up before dinner is important! 🎡 Still a bit fearful, they don't particularly seek human contact, but can still accept a few gentle strokes. With time and gentleness, they will be able to gain confidence at their own pace. 🥰 Aria and Emily are two cute and energetic little mice looking for a family that will respect their shyness and appreciate their little habits as hungry diggers! 🐭💕

Frequently asked

Adopting Aria & Emily, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Aria & Emily?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Calinac handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Aria & Emily on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Aria & Emily if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Calinac what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Aria & Emily already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Calinac directly what is included and what Aria & Emily still needs.
What happens if Aria & Emily isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Calinac early rather than rehoming privately; they know Aria & Emily and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
