adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Arielle has found her home! Her story: Arielle's name isn't random. Like her famous namesake cousin, she observes from the sidelines first before deciding if she wants to be part of the outside world. Loud noise isn't her thing – she prefers quiet waters and a safe frame. Arielle is approximately 5 months old and currently lives in the Shelter in Fantanele. She was found alone in a village, without a mother and without siblings. No fairytale beginning, but reality. Visually, Arielle has everything to stand out: deep black, glossy fur, dark eyes, and clear, white markings. Instead of red hair, she has black gloss – the effect is similar. She appears composed, attentive, and surprisingly unflustered for her age. We know nothing about her genetic background, but we suspect she will reach a medium size. Visually, Labrador genes might be suspected, but the appearance is secondary; Arielle writes her own story. Character-wise, Arielle is reserved but approachable; she lets herself be handled, can be picked up when needed, and stroked. She doesn't spring on anyone, but she looks first to see who is sitting opposite her. For her age, she is more quiet and less playful. With other dogs, she shows friendliness and sociality. She hasn't met cats yet, but they can be tested. For Arielle, we wish for a quiet, stable home, preferably rural, with people patient, humorous, and understanding that not every heroine immediately dives in. Those who give her time will witness how she builds trust and gradually becomes braver. Of course, Arielle still needs to learn the Dog ABC – from house training to leash walking and everyday routines. And yes: puberty will also come and challenge her people. Those who commit to it will see how a cautious dog girl turns into a confident companion – without magic. After a positive evaluation, she is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and has an EU pet passport. A foster home would also be a great gain for this wonderful being! Many thanks to Susi K.! You gave Arielle her pretty name. As of: 15.02.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Susi K.! Du hast Arielle ihren hübsche Namen geschenkt. Stand: 15.02.2026

About Arielle

What life with Arielle looks like

Arielle is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Arielle, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Arielle?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Arielle on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Arielle if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Arielle already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Arielle isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Arielle and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
