06/2026 Arlo, geboren ca. 02/2026, kastriert, ausgewachsen ca. 60 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 05/2026 Arlo ist ein munterer Welpe. Er zeigt sich sehr verspielt, fröhlich und aktiv und freut sich, wenn er Aufmerksamkeit von Menschen bekommt. Mit anderen Hunden kommt Arlo sehr gut zurecht und sucht Spielgefährten. Im Shelter wird er immer mutiger und traut sich langsam auch schon ohne seine Mama auf Entdeckungstour zu gehen. Die weiße Hündin hinter ihm auf den Bildern ist seine Mutter. Die beiden wurden gemeinsam auf der Straße gefunden. Da er vermutlich zum Teil Herdenschutzhund ist, kann es sein, dass er mit dem Heranwachsen entsprechende Verhaltensweisen entwickelt. Daher wünschen wir uns für ihn ein ländlich gelegenes Zuhause mit einem eingezäunten Garten, bestenfalls bei Menschen die bereits Erfahrung mit Herdenschutzhunden oder deren Mischlingen sammeln konnten und deren Eigenschaften zu schätzen wissen. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden im Alter von 7 bis 9 Monaten kastriert. Hierbei wird ein 4D-SNAP-Test durchgeführt, der lediglich den Infektionsstatus zum Zeitpunkt der Testung wiederspiegelt und eine frühere oder sehr frische Infektion nicht sicher ausschließen kann. Ebenso werden sie bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
