Adopt AROZ

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 10 years

Well. 2016, weight 23 kg, Gmina NOWA SUCHA, neutered Yes, other dogs Yes. AROZ is a nice, social mixed breed dog around 10 years old. Mature, but absolutely not a "couch grandfather" - still has a lot of energy and joy of life. He is a cheerful and sociable dog, eager to make contact with people and enjoys spending time together. He likes movement, walks and interest - despite his age, he still wants to explore the world by his caregiver's side. Accepts other dogs, so he can live in a house where there is already a four-legged companion. AROZ deserves a warm, quiet home where he will be loved and appreciated. Age is just a number - there are still many beautiful moments ahead of him.

Ur. ok. 2016 Waga 23 kg Gmina NOWA SUCHA Kastracja TAK Inne psy TAK Aroz to fajny, kontaktowy kundelek w wieku około 10 lat. About AROZ

What life with AROZ looks like

AROZ is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne in 99-423.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting AROZ, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about AROZ?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw AROZ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt AROZ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is AROZ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if AROZ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne early rather than rehoming privately; they know AROZ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
