Ganz wie ihre berühmten Namensgeber gehen Artagnan, Aramis und Athos ihren Weg am liebsten gemeinsam. Die drei Kitten geben sich gegenseitig Sicherheit und sind fast immer zusammen anzutreffen. Deshalb wünschen wir uns, dass sie mindestens zu zweit oder zu einer bereits vorhandenen jungen Katze im ähnlichen Alter ziehen dürfen. Die drei sind noch eher ängstlich, scheu und schreckhaft. Neue Situationen verunsichern sie zunächst und sie beobachten lieber aus sicherer Entfernung. Aktuell lassen sie sich noch nicht anfassen, doch sie machen in ihrem eigenen Tempo Fortschritte. Mit Geduld, Verständnis und einem ruhigen Zuhause haben sie beste Chancen, immer mehr Vertrauen zu ihren Menschen aufzubauen. Beim Tierarzt zeigen sie sich nicht immer gleich kooperativ. Bei Aramis wurde FIP diagnostiziert. Er befindet sich derzeit in medikamentöser Therapie. Alle drei Kater haben angeborene Fehlbildungen an den Pfoten. Dadurch sind ihre Bewegungsmöglichkeiten etwas eingeschränkt und sie können deutlich weniger gut springen und klettern als andere Katzen. Im Alltag kommen sie damit gut zurecht, dennoch sollte ihr zukünftiges Zuhause entsprechend angepasst sein. Auf hohe Kratzbäume oder Klettermöglichkeiten sollte verzichtet werden; stattdessen freuen sie sich über niedrige Liegeflächen, Verstecke und Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten, die ihren Bedürfnissen gerecht werden. Es ist jedoch nicht auszuschliessen, dass sich ihre Kletterfähigkeiten mit zunehmendem Alter und wachsender Muskulatur noch etwas verbessern. Ein Kratzbaum mit mehreren niedrigen Etagen, auf denen sie von Ebene zu Ebene hüpfen können, sollte daher gut geeignet sein, solange keine grossen Sprünge erforderlich sind. Für Artagnan, Aramis und Athos suchen wir ein ruhiges Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung mit einem gut gesicherten Balkon. Menschen, die ihnen die Zeit geben, in ihrem eigenen Tempo anzukommen, werden nach und nach erleben dürfen, wie aus drei vorsichtigen kleinen Musketieren immer mutigere und verschmustere Begleiter werden.
