Arte: a sensitive and gentle soul Male European 13/07/2025 Saint Helens (22) FIV/FELV negative test, neutered, vaccinated 250269611792130 dewormed Adoption fee: €200 A difficult return after abandonment Arte returned to the association after being abandoned. This change deeply affected him and he needed time to adjust. Upon arrival at the foster home, Arte refused to eat for two days. The first nights were also difficult. He meowed a lot and seemed to be searching for his old familiar places. Gradually, Arte adapted to the rhythm of the house. He found more peaceful nights and started to enjoy his environment again. Today, he fully appreciates the presence of his feline companions. Arte also reunited with his mother Satie after several weeks of separation. Despite his size now being larger than hers, he immediately became her little kitten again. Arte's personality: independent, dynamic, and very endearing Arte is an independent, dynamic, affectionate, and greedy cat. He likes to have space and particularly enjoys the moments spent in the catio of his foster home. During the day, Arte doesn't always come to seek out humans spontaneously. However, when encouraged gently, he likes to come and sit next to his foster family. He then enjoys quiet moments and can easily fall asleep next to humans. Once night falls, Arte reveals another facet of his personality. Now accustomed to the rhythm of the house, he likes to join the bed to enjoy cuddles and purrs. Arte is also a big foodie. When he feels confident, the bowl usually doesn't last long! Sociable with cats and dogs, Arte enjoys the company. However, he also knows how to quietly isolate himself when he feels the need. Adoption conditions and ideal environment Arte is looking for patient, attentive humans who are willing to respect his rhythm. His future home will need to give him time to adapt to his new environment. An adaptation phase indoors will be essential upon arrival. Then, Arte will necessarily need an outdoor space to fully flourish. Arte enjoys the company of cats and dogs. He could therefore live with a companion, after gradual and respectful introductions. It will be especially important to understand his sensitivity and accept that he doesn't always come to humans immediately. However, once trust is established, Arte becomes an adorable, tender, and purring companion. Arte now deserves a family that can offer him the stability he is looking for. A family that will listen to him and give him time to finally settle his bags 🐾 Find Arte, this cat for adoption by visiting our Facebook page!
