Hello my name is AshI have heard some people refer to me as the Beautiful Black Panther.As my nick name indicates I am energetic and love to stalk! A feather wand or bouncing spring will initiate my focused dance (prowl); I believe that I shake my hips better than Shakira. Although I pounce on unsuspecting hands or arms which I am working on, but it can be so difficult to resist the intrusive thoughts, with some clear guidance I am learning that this can hurt people. I have been learning to make better choices by diverting my attention to a toy before listening to the devil on my shoulder.My favourite times of day are definitely feeding times! I will do almost anything for food…Almost. I like to have my breakfast as quickly as the staff can serve it; if they are in my opinion too slow, I will loudly voice my complaints. I found my way to CCG when I was abandoned, because of this I find it easier to try and push people away and pretend I don’t care, until I realise they are going to stay and put up with/enjoy my mischief. I will slowly lower my barriers and once I am comfortable I have been known to give head bumps and groom hair. One of the staff keeps saying that if you break through the bravado I’m a caring, sensitive boy who will flourish with the consistency only a home can provide.I would like to be the only priority in the house; I do not like the idea of sharing love or affection with other cats or dogs.As I am still learning how to look after humans, I think it would
