Dit is Asher! Asher leefde als zwerfkat totdat hij in een zeer slechte gezondheidstoestand werd gevonden. De vrijwilligsters brachten hem direct naar een dierenkliniek waar de diagnose immuungemedieerde hemolytische anemie werd gesteld. Helaas konden de vrijwilligsters de kosten voor de noodzakelijke behandeling niet betalen. Hij werd opgenomen in een gastgezin en kreeg de nodige bloedtransfusies en doorliep met succes de vereiste behandeling. Inmiddels is hij weer gezond en sterk. Hij is klaar om zijn moeilijke verleden achter zich te laten en zijn gouden mandje te vinden. Asher heeft een liefdevol karakter. Hij heeft wat tijd nodig om te wennen en zich veilig te voelen. Hij kan in het begin wat terughoudend reageren op nieuwe of onbekende zaken. Met geduld, liefde en respect voor zijn eigen tempo bloeit hij langzaam op en toont hij zijn zachtaardige karakter en vertrouwen. Asher is sociaal. Hij geniet van menselijk gezelschap. Asher houdt van knuffelen. Met zijn warme gespin en zijn voorliefde voor zachte aaitjes verovert hij moeiteloos de harten van iedereen die hij ontmoet. Hij is geschikt voor een huishouden met andere katten en/of honden. Hij leeft vreedzaam met ze samen. Hij geniet van hun gezelschap. Hij kiest er vaak voor om naast hen – of zelfs bijna bovenop hen – te slapen. Asher is gecastreerd. Asher is gevaccineerd. Update augustus 2026: Asher is positief getest op FIV.
