Current location: animal shelter Istanbul (Turkey) Surrender reason: The street dog Askar arrived at the intake station in a desolate condition. He had open wounds, was undernourished and dehydrated. He must have struggled to find something edible on the streets for a long time. In Turkey, these dogs are often brutally hunted or killed. He is absolutely people-oriented, still a bit insecure, and seems to have not learned much so far. He was probably kept somewhere not very well. We are looking for owners with breed experience who can provide him with stability and security. He is absolutely friendly with people and quickly builds trust. In Germany, Dogo Argentinos are subject to certain regulations in certain states according to the State Dog Ordinance. We ask you to inform yourself about the regulations if you are interested.
