Two kittens found as strays are now looking for their own place. What you should know about us? We are not kittens that like to snuggle or enjoy a long cuddle session. On the contrary! We don't like being picked up or petted. We prefer to keep our distance and decide when we want to be near people. Can we become more affectionate in the future? Unfortunately, we can't promise that. Maybe with a lot of patience and trust, we will learn to be more affectionate, but it's also possible that we will always prefer to keep our own feet and not like physical contact. So, if you choose us, you should like us as we are now, without expecting us to become real cuddly cats. Fortunately, there are other ways to make us happy! A nice bowl of wet food, for example. 😋 That makes us very excited! Love clearly goes through our stomach. We prefer a quiet home with people who have experience with shyer cats. People who respect our boundaries, don't try to pick us up or pet us, and enjoy just enjoying us from a distance. We would prefer to move together, because with two of us, the world feels less scary. Another possibility is a safe place as a cat, where we get shelter, care, and good food without being expected to become real house cats.

Twee katjes die als zwerfkittens werden gevonden en nu op zoek zijn naar een eigen plekje. Wat je meteen over ons moet weten? Wij zijn geen katjes die graag op schoot kruipen of genieten van een uitgebreide knuffelsessie. Integendeel! Opgepakt worden of geaaid worden vinden wij absoluut niet fijn. We houden liever afstand en bepalen zelf wanneer we in de buurt van mensen willen komen. Of we in de toekomst nog aanhankelijker zullen worden? Dat kunnen we helaas niet beloven. Misschien leren we met veel geduld en vertrouwen nog wat meer op mensen, maar het is evengoed mogelijk dat we altijd liever op onze eigen pootjes blijven staan en niet van lichamelijk contact houden. Wie voor ons kiest, moet ons dus graag zien zoals we nú zijn, zonder de verwachting dat we ooit echte knuffelkatjes worden. Gelukkig zijn er ook andere manieren om ons gelukkig te maken! Een lekker kommetje natvoeding bijvoorbeeld. 😋 Daar worden wij héél enthousiast van! Liefde gaat bij ons duidelijk door de maag. We zoeken bij voorkeur een rustige thuis bij mensen met ervaring met schuwere katten. Mensen die onze grenzen respecteren, ons niet proberen te pakken of te aaien en het fijn vinden om gewoon vanop afstand van ons te genieten. Het liefst verhuizen we samen, want met z'n tweetjes voelt de wereld toch wat minder spannend. Een andere mogelijkheid is een veilige plek als stalkatjes, waar we beschutting, verzorging en lekker eten krijgen zonder dat er van ons verwacht wordt dat we echte huiskatten worden.
