Who am I? My name is Aston. I should be handsome, but I must have been shaved because, due to lack of care, I ended up with a lot of matts in my fur. Left abandoned, I wasn't pretty to look at when I arrived at the association, but now I'm a bit more presentable and I would really like a family all to myself. I am a very gentle, affectionate and very social cat with other cats of the same species. However, I am FIV positive, so I will need supervised outings or a harness. Well-cared-for FIV cats have the same life expectancy as negative cats. FIV, or "cat AIDS," is only transmitted from cat to cat, and the only causes of transmission are fights and mating. When cats are spayed, the risk is nearly zero, so Aston can live with other cat friends if they are not aggressive. I'm waiting for you... for lots of love. Qui suis-je ? Je m’appelle Aston Je devrais être beau mais j’ai dû être rasé car faute d’entretien je me suis retrouvé avec plein de bouloches dans mon pelage. Laissé à l’abandon je n’étais pas beau à voir en arrivant à l’association, mais maintenant je suis un peu plus présentable et je voudrais bien une famille rien que pour moi. Je suis un très gentil matou câlin et très sociable avec mes congénères, Cependant je suis un chat FIV il me faudra des sorties sous surveillance ou en harnais Bien entretenu les chats FIV ont une espérance de vie identique à celle des chats négatifs. le FIV ou “sida du chat” n’est transmissible que de chat à chat, les seules causes de transferts sont les bagarres et les accouplements. Lorsque les chats sont stérilisés, le risque est proche de zéro, donc Aston peut vivre avec d’autres copains chats si ils ne sont pas agressifs.
