Athena arrived at our shelter after an investigation. She is shy when she doesn't know the people around her, but once she trusts them, she reveals herself to be a wonderful dog, very close to humans and full of energy. Ok cats ok dogs ok children, very close and affectionate. Very endearing but severe separation anxiety. Athena returned from placement because she doesn't know how to be alone at all (vocal ++ and damage + opens doors) a lot of work on loneliness will have to be done with her. She will need an active and sporty family to offer her the physical activity she needs on a daily basis. We don't yet know her compatibility with other animals. However, she had a rather positive first contact with cats, which leads us to believe she could coexist with a feline companion.

Athéna est arrivée chez nous à la suite d'une enquête. Elle est timide lorsqu'elle ne connaît pas les personnes qui l'entourent, mais une fois en confiance, elle se révèle être une formidable chienne, très proche de l'humain et pleine d'énergie. Ok chats ok chiens ok enfants, très proche et câline. Très attachante mais grosse anxiété de séparation. Athéna est revenue de placement car elle ne sait pas rester seule du tout (vocalise ++ et dégâts + ouvre les portes) un gros travail sur la solitude sera à faire avec elle. Elle aura besoin d'une famille active et sportive afin de lui offrir la dépense physique dont elle a besoin au quotidien. Nous ne connaissons pas encore ses ententes avec les autres animaux. Elle a toutefois eu un premier contact plutôt positif avec des chats, ce qui nous laisse penser qu'elle pourrait cohabiter avec un compagnon félin.
