Die bezaubernde Athenea kommt ursprünglich aus Spanien. Ihre Welpenzeit verbrachte sie auf der Straße, was sie zu einer sehr vorsichtigen Hündin werden ließ. Nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt im spanischen Tierheim bezog die zurückhaltende Schönheit ihre Pflegestelle in Waldesch. Die Umstellung war für die schüchterne Hündin sehr groß, sie kannte nichts und tat sich anfangs schwer im Umgang mit Menschen. Mit viel Geduld, Liebe und Fingerspitzengefühl ist es ihrer Pflegemama gelungen, ihr Vertrauen aufzubauen und Athenea zu festigen. Dies hat einige Zeit gedauert und setzt bei ihren neuen Besitzer*innen ebenfalls viel Geduld und Hingabe voraus. Athenea ist schlau, sie kennt die Grundkommandos, geht sehr gut an der Leine, fährt gern im Auto mit und ist natürlich stubenrein. Am liebsten ist Athenea draußen im Garten, gern den ganzen Tag, bei jedem Wetter. Dann genießt sie das Leben ganz unbeschwert in vollen Zügen und tobt mit ihren vierbeinigen Freunden umher. Daher wäre es toll, wenn in ihrem neuem Zuhause ein souveräner Ersthund leben würde. Ansonsten zeigt sie sich in ihrer Pflegestelle zufrieden, ruhig und ausgeglichen. Atheneas Herz und Vertrauen gewinnt man nicht im Sturm. Wir suchen für sie Menschen, die ihr mit Ruhe und Geduld begegnen.
